Approach

To give you an idea of our process, the major steps we take with clients to help accomplish their land management goals are briefly discussed below.

1

Initial Contact

During the initial conversation with potential clients, East Texas Mulching will seek to determine as much about the client's goals as possible to establish realistic expectations of what can be accomplished with the equipment, operators, and schedule.

Description

Schedule Estimate/Site Visit

When a potential customer indicates that they would like to pursue mulching services (or some of the additional services offered), East Texas Mulching will schedule a site visit to make an assessment of the work to be performed and provide an estimate of the cost to complete the job.  This is one of the most critical steps to the process to ensure that the land management goals can be met.  One thing that East Texas Mulching will not do is tell clients that we can solve all of the problems.  As with any service, there are limitations and East Texas Mulching will discuss those with the customer during the site visit.

Schedule the Work

Once an agreement has been made between the customer and East Texas Mulching, the work to be performed will be scheduled based on customer requirements, the backlog of mulching jobs under contract, and weather.  Weather often affects the schedule, especially for sites that have poor drainage or tend to be wet for most of the year.

Mobilization of Equipment

Because of the cost associated with moving the equipment, a site visit and assessment is made before any equipment is hauled to the customer's property.  Cost of moving the equipment to and from the property is outlined in the service agreement that is established between the customer and East Texas Mulching.

Perform Land Management Work

East Texas Mulching operators will take care in performing the service for the customer which has been discussed during the site visit and previous communications.  East Texas Mulching will make every effort to coordinate with the customer during the actual work to ensure that goals are accomplished and to address any unknowns that are uncovered.  The work also includes regular sharpening of the teeth for the mulching head, which is required to keep the equipment performing most efficiently.

Follow Up

Once the work is complete, East Texas Mulching will follow up with the customer to ensure goals and expectations were met.  Our desire is that every customer of East Texas Mulching is satisfied with the service(s) performed.

Service Agreement Initiation

In order to mitigate risk for both the customer and East Texas Mulching, a service agreement will be established that outlines the work, rates, and responsibilities of both parties.  This agreement also defines the level of insurance that East Texas Mulching covers while we are performing work on the customer's property.
